Ion-molecule reaction of biomolecules for radical migrations
Electronic structures of excited state metal complex; emissive decay such as thermal assisted delay fluorescence
Molecular self-assembly via non-covalent interaction
Infrared multiphoton dissociation action spectroscopy (IRMPD) of gas-phase molecules

2024, visiting research at Institute of Materials Research, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (hosted by Assoc. Prof. Kobe Man Chung Tang), Experimental synthesis, characterization of OLED molecular design and device fabrication.
2016, visiting research at Institute for Ion Physics and Applied Physics, University of Innsbruck, Austria (hosted by Professor Beyer, M. K.), Ion-molecule reaction of carbonate anion investigation was conducted by using Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR).
2015/16, visiting research at University of Hong Kong (hosted by Professor Ivan Chu), Triple quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometry was employed to investigate the unimolecular dissociation of peptide radical cation and ion-molecule reaction of NO2 and peptide radical cation
